Description
Tony Iommi, the man who invented Heavy Metal and one of the most influential and important guitarists of all time.
I skived a day off art college in Blackpool to see Sabbath at the Liverpool Empire in 1977. Looking back I can now see I was witnessing history in the making. And what a gig!
My play on the song The Wizard is based upon an original photo by Adam Bielawki.

I just had to know more about this photo and I found out, Tony Iommi of Heaven and Hell performs at Chicago's Charter One Pavilion on June 11, 2009. Photo by Adam Bielawki So this was when Ozzy was suing them over use of the name Black Sabbath and they changed their name to Heaven and Hell. But no matter to me because as long as Tony is in the band they are and will forever be ,Black Sabbath

Da man! Great work of the Grandfather of Heavy Metal. Thank God he finished out his day of work at the sheet metal factory otherwise we may have never moved forward to that genre due to him losing his 2 finger tips

Ha ha! He developed a style to compensate that is forever unique and appreciated world wide.
