Mal, this has the look of an Andrew Weyth painting - austere, serene, lonely? I really liked the inclusion of the moon to balance the tree. Great work! L/F -- Joe.

To me the angled horizon works here, making me feel as if the tree is on the very edge of the world and I am far enough away to begin to see the curvature of the earth's surface. The moon contributes to that feel. One of my two Picks of the Day in the Best of Minimalism in Photography group for August 12.
